Prospecting - Door Knocking or Phone Calls?

Agents- do you get more results prospecting by phone or door knocking - expireds & fsbo? What time of day do you get best results, morning or evening? I'm spinning my wheels trying to figure this out, any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Morning I find is best. Usually because if I make a good contact via the phone I can go see them later that day

I do 10 calls per day on cold calls. I think 7-9 PM is when I get my best contacts on the phone. Door to door is anytime there is a car in the drive or after the kids get off the bus.

I avoid both I hate them with a passion. I have door knocked which I rather do then call but either I hate. Im not a cold person and prefer warm leads. But some people really rock the cold leads and anytime you catch someone at home is the best time.

You Deserve The Best
With the do not call lists you have to be very careful.  I personally do not call or knock on doors.  I have had expireds other agents tried to get by doing both.  In more than one case my clients decided to leave the home off the market for some good reason but planned to use me when putting it back on.  They were irritated by the agents bothering them.  However, I know it works for some agents to knock on the door in the evening and on weekends.
