Dramatic Before and After and Check out the Headboard!

Home Stager with Stage Tucson! Professional Home Staging

Hi everyone...  well, I just wanted to share these pictures and I think in this case a picture definitely IS worth a thousand words.  As for the headboard.... we couldn't locate the headboard that we were searching for at our storage unit and so I grabbed two of these "square hangie thingies" that we had picked up from Pier One a while ago and well.....I most certainly wish we had purchased more of them !

Unfortunately, by the time we finished the job yesterday, it was late late afternoon  (okay.... verging on early evening)  and so, I need to nip over there and take better "after" photos, but I was anxious to share this.

Headboards make a world of difference, don't they?  Art work can anchor a bed as well...

Nancy - love the headboard - the real thing can be so expensive but this looks fab for a fraction of the cost. Well done!

Paint is our friend.  Good job on the headboard.  Love doing that, it's so much lighter to carry and similar impact.  Good job.

Getting rid of the pink paint was so helpful for this room. Did you have to twist their arm to get this done? The headboard looks great, as does the transformed room!

thanks everyone for your comments.  No, we did not have to twist their arm to paint the room, they had planned to paint from thestart....  we just had to suggest some colors.  They did the painting themselves and I'm not sure the name of the color, but it was a lovely light tan color and the wall with the bed was a slightly darker tan.  By the time we were done, it was late in the day and the color on this photo doesn't really reflect the actual color.

Hi Nancy -

So you know all about the crazy dumps of snow we get in April and May in St. Albert. Are you enjoying Tucson? I must admit I am envious of your location. Lately, I have been seriously looking at relocating myself, just because of this crazy weather!

Best to you, and I will be watching your blog. You did wonders with this room, by the way! TALL ceilings!

I can't get over that headboard! Inexpensive, light weight and tres chic. I think I have a couple of thingies like that in my garage. I'm going tot put them to work.

Very creative use of the wrought iron 'hangie thingies', Nancy.  It adds texture and interest to the room. Way to go!
