I personally have also been there and it is a great place. To see the massive machines up close and personal is awe inspiring.

This weekend Thomas the train is in town and the place is busy, but normally it is a very quiet place to explore.
There are many styles and size of old loco's. It is easy to be able to spend 2-3 hours looking. Some Locomotive's you can actually crawl up into.
They lso have excursions of about an hour to 1/2 day.
Looking for some fun and education...Check out the Railroad Museum...you will be glad you did!
