The empty space can contain Seller, Buyer, Broker, Team, Tenant, Investor or a slew of other people. This is almost always inundated with a multitude of Whys which come at any and all times of the transaction.
That is a constant in the Real Estate Industry whether you're in your first year or fiftieth. There is flux in great quantities and it needs to be dealt with. Your mettle is under attack at all times for the most part and how you absorb those blows is your sign of success. The Easy Button comes along too sparingly but don't ignore its existence, it is real in spite of the stories you're told.
