Every Friday I share the funniest thing I've seen on the internet all week. This of course is strictly my opinion. It should also be noted that this is the funniest thing that is appopriate to share on a professional platform. Some other things may have crossed my social media feeds that were funnier but I'll keep it PG-13 here. This week's winner is a poor golfer who obviously is new to the idea of playing a desert course. This individual is likely not from Arizona and therefore is not familiar with Cylindropuntia fulgida, better known as "the jumping cholla." If you do intend to take a golf trip to Scottsdale or anywhere else in the great southwest be on the lookout for these plants. If you happen to hit a wayward drive into the desert and it settles under one of these plants, it is in your best interest to just take the penalty and drop a new ball.
On a side note, this is why when I golf I buy used golf balls.
