Chamblee GA Homes For Sale | Huntley Hills

When home buyers are searching in Atlanta, I think they (and perhaps their agents) overlook many intown living options that would save them from that dreaded 30-60 minute commute to work and home each day.

I also understand the size and features of older Intown homes, and also school concerns for those with children. But I also know that there is a part of Atlanta that is going to see a boom in the next few years (moreso than what is happening already) and one of those areas is Chamblee.

Chamblee is located North of Midtown, Buckhead and Brookhaven...but each of these areas is easily accessible via Peachtree Road, Buford Highway, I-85 and even....YES....mass transit! Chamblee's MARTA station is very convenient to Huntley Hills! With stops in Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown, you might even get to save mileage on your car!

Huntley Hills was first developed in the late 1950's with a variety of ranch-style homes that were made everso popular during the post World War II housing boom. Many of them have been renovated and remodeled and have had additional space added to them. Take a look at one of the original marketing brochures of the homes!

The neighborhood is served by a great school cluster -- Huntley Hills Elementary, Chamblee Middle School and Chamblee Charter High School.

Chamblee is seeing a burst of new construction, both in apartments and townhome communities. With this momentum, and the nearby redevelopment of the GM Plant (Now Assembly Doraville) this might be a good time to look at Huntley Hills. I've certainly seen quite a jump in prices in just the last couple years!

How cool that you have a copy of that original brochure.  Used to have family right around there.
