Exploring Long Island: The Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games for 2015.

The Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games was established 55 years ago to introduce the public to the Scottish customs, heavy weight games competition (which is amazing), music, dance and history. This is an event not to be missed. The Old Westbury Gardens will host the event, admissions for adults is $17, children under 12 years of age are $8, and seniors are $15. 

The festival kicks off at 8am-5pm, August 22nd, 2015.

 Good Tuesday evening Laura. Sounds like a great cultural experience. I wouldn't mind going to Long Island just to visit the Scottish Festival.
