I know that it is still summer, and it is August in Maui. But I can feel the change of fall coming.
Okay so we don't get the fall leaves, and early winter snow. But I can see it in the ocean as the winter swells slowly start arriving. It is also a sign to get into the gym and get ready and fit for winter waves.
What does this have to do with real estate on Maui, really nothing. It is just a choice and life style that brings many people to Maui. Most people have to work that live on Maui, okay there is the select blessed few that are retired, or snowbirds that come to Maui in the summer time to wind surf on Maui, then head back to the mountains when the snow starts falling. Then there is the winter snow birds that want to escape the cold climate of the north.
For my wife and I, it's all about island living. Okay yes I do work alot at selling real estate in Maui, but come on, there is more to life than work. I try to find the balance between work and living on Maui. What brings so many people to Maui is the life style, enjoying the out doors, and getting in the water.
Here are a couple clients and good friends Rich and Kalinda. They move here about five years ago, and they have completely embraced the Maui lifestyle.
So if you're looking to experience the Maui lifestyle, just do it. Here are a couple of my friends that moved from L.A and Switzerland looking for warmer climates and a better quality of life. So if you're thinking about buying a home on Maui, give me a call. You might be thinking about selling your home, or condos on Maui, I work with Elite Pacific Properties, #1 in luxury home sales in Hawaii. So make sure you get out in to the surf, just maybe I will see you out windsurfing this summer.
