If you have something to say, and fail to say it, notice how quickly the circumstance moves on without you as you watch and think it away wondering if you should or should not have spoken. At some point, its gone! The same dynamic exists with if you have something to do and do not do it! Failure to act is the equivalent of not being there to begin with or hiding in plain sight
PURPOSE IS UPON YOU
What was the point of being involved or at a place and having that inner stirring kick in and instead of letting it out so it can make a difference, you shut it down and remain a non-player. Keep this up and life as you know it will surely pass you by. The mysterious purpose for you being here is not activated!
ARE YOU HERE?
You see, life is not a story book but instead, it is made up of little moments, incidents, observations snapshots, opportunities and invites that when taken or acted upon give a reward for participating even if you fail or make an embarrassment of yourself. Life is not guaranteed but ever-present unless you are not. I mean this is it! There are no-rehearsals. We went live first time out!
BE TASTY
I read where the point is made in regards to salt and how if it loses is flavor, then what good is it really? It becomes another pebble or rock? We have plenty of those already! In other words, everything, all of us, bring value and difference to the moment no matter where or what you are and failing to agree with that works against you. HOW?
THE DIFFERENCE
Proving that you DO NOT make a difference and then repeating that wherever you go will produce a result but what kind? A non person? A nobody home? An empty shell? A dull life form? Trying to hold back, or turn off, or work against the purpose of you being here is backwards movement. You gain nothing! The difference that you could or should have made never comes to bear. Lost forever
GAIN FROM LIFE
I have spoken out many times and have had it go wrong, or not well or could have gone better. I suffered the embarrassment, humiliation and the uncomfortableness of it all and while painful to the inner parts, in time, it passed. Eventually it remained as humor or a lesson not to be repeated. I gained
DEAD OR ALIVE?
All has value. That's the amazing part. Life cannot be anything but alive. Whether it is focused, productive, refined, put to good use or starting up and not at its potential, it still has an enormous value for just being and no matter what you do or say, benefit is always arrived at. This is the power of life!
SELF-EVIDENCY
Withholding? That is more painful that a faux pas! Take a flower seed for instance. Picture the seed in your hand. Now picture a flower in your other hand. Look at the difference. Just ponder the two distinct stages of life before you. Let self-evidency, the master teacher, teach you the obvious
THE SEED & THE FLOWER
A small but powerful tiny piece of matter with potential and mystery ripe for the journey is the seed and the aftermath of all its circumstances, hardships, suffering, navigating and then surfacing is the flower that not only reached its fullness, but has a unique character and story to tell as well.
THE GIVE BACK!
Furthermore, that same flower, after it has lived out its time to its fullness now becomes part of a beautiful bigger picture that involves and includes other life forms like bees, humming birds, other flowers and humans too. By blooming and becoming its self, it now purposes and serves the big picture
FREELY YOU RECEIVED...NOW FREELY GIVE
By now, you know my point. That flower (and seed) is you! You cannot stay a seed and have all that life has to offer. The Universe wants you to give and to receive or why are you here? Refuse the ordinary! Risk so that growth may have a chance to live and above all, consider this.
GO & GROW!
I know that first time-out with every moment is fraught with unknowns, but like all things, it too will pass for the better or the not and brilliantly hidden in the growing process is your purpose, identity and the character that goes along with it. Go full circle. Let the life cycle have its way with you and remember: YOU WILL NOT BE BACK THIS WAY AGAIN! Grow..and be strong as well as quick about it!
