There are 74 acres that the Genesee Land Trust has the opportunity to purchase from the Cornwall family and become a land preserve for people to walk along Lake Ontario and wooded lands.
This is where I grew up and had many adventures from the woods containing hollowed trees with ladders inside to view boats and ships on the water to what was called table rock and the 40 foot high cliffs to get to the waters edge.
I have decided that a donation from my closings to the end of the year to help raise the $640,000 to make this endeavor happen.
