Plumeria Trees - Large & Small

Plumeria trees come in all sizes, large and small. While I have a beautiful large Plumeria growing on the balcony, it really needs to be downstairs in the yard, since they can grow to 30 feet. So tomorrow it is going down and it's big brother is going to my daughter's home this weekend, so she can plant it in her front yard.

I just purchased a miniature Plumeria Divine, which will only grow to approximately two feet in height and that is going to be the one I keep on the balcony.

The beautiful thing about living in South Florida is that we can grow Plumeria and other tropical trees in the garden if we want to. They do not need to come inside during the winter months. They love the humidity and rainfall we have here along with the sunshine.

Plumeria trees produce the flowers that are used to make Leis in Hawaii. They come in a variety of colors and fragrances. They are one of the many breathtakingly beautiful trees that grow here in the Sunshine State.

That looks like a beautiful tree, I wonder if we are able to grow those in Arizona?  I just have low maintenance stuff in my yard, haha.

Plumeria trees also grow in Hawaii.  I think they are absolutely gorgeous.  They don't do well here in Sacramento.  Too much heat in summer, and not enough humidity.

We certainly have the humidity here! When we wake up after having the air conditioning on all night, the windows are so full of moisture on the outside that we cannot even see outside!

Those are beautiful! Plumeria would not do well in our desert climate.
