Choose the People you Associate With . . . . Carefully

Hello Lou,  Sometimes it is hard to figure out friends, they seen to want to be friends but all they really want is to take.

Lou, although I hear people say they do not care about the perceptions of others...we need to consider how our actions change are bottom line $$$$

A great reminder for those seeking how to reach success, Lou!  Surround yourself with those that have created success, meet with them, ask them the right questions, and it may mean to change you personal friends to hang with.  If not, then you end up settling for what they have.

For sure Lou. There are takers and there are givers. Make the right choice!

 As they say, birds of feather flock together....oh so true I once worked with a group that as I looked around the room, I said OMG these are my collegues I am too embarrased for people to know I work with them so I found a new job!

Lou, One always has to be careful who thay associated with or as they say these days hang out with. Guilt by association happens all the time. 

So true. Not to mention their bad habits may rub off on you.

Good advice Lou. You are who you associate with. Many expressions shared in the comments here have never been truer.

I've been told to surround myself with persons of high ideals. It's impossible to have integrity if one works or are friends with those who do not have integrity. 

I've had to cut a lot of friends to get the success I wanted, you really do become who you hang out with. So choose carefully. 

Running with the wrong crowd will only get us in trouble, so it's important for us to choose the right associates!

Lou- as much as we'd like to think that we won't be influenced by the company we keep, we are.  

I wish I had become aware of this much earlier in my life.  It is best to surround yourself with postitive supportive people.

Lou - the wrong people can certainly  bring you down. It's good to associate with positive, forward-looking people.

Just this past weekend, I had that conversation with a family member.  It is very true that we are often judged by those we associate with!
