Right now there's a lull in the outbound marketing for real estate business. I'm not just talking about my own city of Roseville but everywhere across America the outbound solicitations have lulled. The phone calls have slowed down and so have the door knocks.
The largest real estate company in the world (Keller Williams Realty) has been at its yearly Mega Camp. Once each year they get together in Austin TX. People fly from across the country in every direction to come in for this event. It's kind of a big thing.
Believe me when these folks come back to work on Monday their going to be fired up. There will be huge plans discussed, made and developed by mega teams and invaluable insights gained. People are going to come back hot to trot and ready to dial dial dial and Knock Knock Knock.
So if your a homeowner hang on to your seat. If your a Realtor your job is about to get harder. The push begins this Monday. The expired listings are going to get called and door knocked with a focus not felt in quite some time. People will be expecting results. Keller Williams Agents will be working hard to get those results.
I know for a fact that there are entire teams that went to this thing. Teams from state to state to state. I happen to be out of the Roseville branch of Keller Williams Realty. One thing is guaranteed and that's that the Roseville and Sacramento areas are going to get dialed dialed dialed and door knocked heavy. Competition will begin in a way that's only seen for a short time once per year.
Yes it's true that in the few weeks after Mega Camp the push will die down. Only the strong survive in this business and the weaker agents will slowly merge back into unproductive habits having said to themselves (I tried). I know it's a negative outlook but it's true. The stronger agents will have a business based on prospecting and will have productive habits (which help both the Realtor and the home sellers and buyers). Yes folks this thing will even itself out.
Ever notice how there's always a lot of Keller Williams Agents in the marketplace? It's because they're the number 1 training company and they have about 130,000 agents. They focus heavy on training their agents. This keeps agents motivated and constantly striving to improve their businesses and lifestyles. This is why agents don't get as demotivated as you would think. Constant constant training. It's built into the culture.
Get ready to feel that culture push come this Monday.
