It is the end of a wonderful Summer and School has already begun. Six Flags Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor are ending their seasons and footballs are already in the air.

The local real estate market has benefited from a steady recovery. This is a market in which prices have stabilized and multiple offers have happened much less than they had in recent years. Homes sales are up about 20% over 2014 and prices have risen about 10% in the past year. Many young and potential first time buyers remain on the sidelines but are trickling into the market. This group of buyers control the pace of sales and rise of prices. Once the young, highly educated first time buyers decide to buy homes in earnest we will once again have an out of control real estate market. Let's enjoy a stable market while it lasts.
