What you're going to love about this home is that is shows like new construction, but is priced at only $85 per square foot as compared to new construction pricing, which is usually around $100 per square foot.
This single story home had a new beginning following a house fire in 2004, which was confined largely to the attic area over the garage. New attic trusses, decking, roof, soffit and facia were installed on the rebuild. Inside the home, the damaged walls were repaired, rebuilt and replaced. The exterior of the home received new windows, new siding and new trim. All wiring was replaced and a new 200 amp panel installed along with new heat and AC units and the hot water tank. New bathroom and kitchen fixtures were installed as were new cabinets. New ceiling can lighting was added completing the rebuild project around 2006.

This wonderful home offers new carpet, newer heat and AC and a back deck for entertaining. Additionally, there is a wood burning fireplace located in the living room. Most new construction in Owasso now offers gas log fireplaces that cannot burn real wood. And who doesn't love the ambiance of a real wood fire on a cold winter night? All bedrooms offer large lighted closets and are large enough for beds, end tables with plenty of floor space to enjoy.
Three Lakes in Owasso Oklahoma
The Three Lakes neighborhood in Owasso, OK was developed beginning in the early 70's. The first houses were built in 1972 with the final houses finishing up around 1988. As you might guess, Three Lakes is named after three "lakes" found in the neighborhood. You can see these on the map. And one thing you'll notice about Three Lakes on the map is that it crosses 86th Street to the north and south. As far as I know, this is the only neighborhood in Owasso that crosses a major street.
Values for homes in Three Lakes generally average around $80 per square foot. But homes can sell for more if they are updated and for less if they are in foreclosure, for example. Updates typically include high def laminate counter tops, new vanities, raised white panel doors and hardware, as well as carpet and tile flooring. You may find some granite counter tops in this neighborhood, but that would be the exception rather than the norm.
One thing homeowners in Three Lakes love is that their neighborhood is located close to Highway 169 which is a main route to Tulsa to the south and Collinsville, Oologah and the state of Kansas to the north. They also love that Reasor's grocery store is right across the street and so is the Taco Beuno, a Mexican fast food favorite around all of Tulsa.
One other feature that this neighborhood enjoys is not only the peacefulness of the three lakes within the community, but the best park in Owasso too! Elm Creek Park is located within walking distance of Three Lakes and offers a full sized soccer field, walking trails, tennis courts, lots of trees, picnic area and lots of ducks and geese that love to be fed by the kiddos!
