Omaha ranks as 3rd highest for population on the list and is commended for its trendy and flourishing restaurant scene. A strong catalyst for this is the ease of which restaurants have quick access to legitimate farm fresh ingredients – most notably high quality beef. Even better, prices stay conservatively affordable amidst Omaha’s robust and ever expanding economy. The sky is the limit with even the Oracle of Omaha himself, Warren Buffett drawing attention to the city with the buzz of Berkshire Hathaway among a handful of other Fortune 500 companies. It seems that Omaha may indeed offer today’s urbanites a place where you can truly “have it all”, great employment, an optimistic economy and even better food – all without the high price tags and space restrictions most big cities require.
