Canning Tomatoes tonight

Believe it or not.  We had enough tomatoes for 1 quart tonight.

I know that seems like a lot of work for 1 quart of tomatoes, but we grew them

WE eat them, and we want t o save what we can't eat.  So You can them..

 

We have not had a great tomato year this year and I feel like we must preserve all that

we possibly can.

 

I make our spaghetti sauce with our tomatoes that we "put up"...

It is the best sauce you can imagine.

Nina.  that is part of what is keeping us sane this Summer.  Our house is being remodeled and we have been in a 700 SQ FT condo since June 11.

Wow William.  WE do maybe 40 Qts a year.  Really down this year.

Only about 10..

I use them in my spaghetti sauce and homemade veggie soup..
