What motivated you to be apart of Teles Foundation?
I believe that giving back is the key to happiness. I enjoy being a part of organizations that make a difference in people’s lives. Those of us who have been blessed with abundance, eduction and a good life have a duty to give back to our communities.

What is your favorite local charity and why?
I am passionate about any charity that helps at risk children and young people. One example is Girls’s Inc. who helps young women reach their potential. Another is Rancho Cielo, an organization with the goal of empowering youth to become accountable, competent, productive and responsible members of society.

What is your area of focus for your personal real estate business?
My team is focused on assisting residential buyers with purchases of first homes, retirement and vacation homes as well as multi-million dollar investment properties. My business model is the team approach with members who are experienced to assist in any type of real estate transaction.

Discuss a recent client interaction that was inspiring.
I recently sold a house to a woman who wanted to move back here from Florida. She was overwhelmed by California prices and felt she could never come back. I encouraged her to get pre-approved, which to her surprise, enabled her the ability to purchase a home exactly where she wanted. She took a leap of faith, sold her home in Florida and we just closed on her home. She thanked me for making her dream come true. It was heartwarming to see her so happy.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Southern California and why?
My favoite neighborhood in Southern CA is Brentwood. However, since I am with the Teles Office in Carmel, I will speak about the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. Our area is a world class destination with famous golf courses, pristine beaches and a year round Mediterranean climate. Each of our cities has it’s own unique personality. There is something for everyone, from the sunshine and peace of Carmel Valley, to the golf courses of Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove with it’s quaint Victorians, Monterey’s fishing village and Carmel’s art galleries. Many people choose to retire here or have second homes. The Peninsula has a home town feeling with many cultural events, festivals and neighborhood gatherings.

What activities do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy theatre and live music, volunteering, tennis, golf, travel.
