It's our planet and we can all do our part to help with conservation. On April 19, 2008, Ft. Smith will have it's very first Earth Fest. What on Earth is Earth Fest? It give you the opportunity to get hands-on connection with nature. You'll have the opportunity to take a tour of the Janet Huckabee Nature Center's Wet Lands, and Lock and Dam 13, Hofnod Monster Enforcement Truck will be out displaying some tricks for all to enjoy. There will be boat safety and recycling presentations and Eco Friendly exhibits.
The admission is FREE!!! There will be a $2.00 lunch. I will be held at the Janet Huckabee Nature center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rain or shine!! That's southern talk for: It doesn't matter what the weather is!!!
