There is a great report by Wallethub that ranks the top 300 housing markets in the country & Cary ranked #8!

To help prospective home buyers find the most attractive markets, WalletHub compared 300 U.S. cities across 14 key metrics, including the percentage of homes with negative equity, average number of days on the market, foreclosure rates, building permit activity, home price as a percentage of income, job growth and population growth. Data set ranges from median home-price appreciation to home price as a percentage of income to job growth. Cary has the eighth-healthiest housing market in the U.S. Raleigh is No. 9 among large cities with a population 300,000 and above, and Durham is No. 19 among mid-sized cities with a population between 150,000 and 300,000. Charlotte is No. 36 on the large cities list.

Just another reason to buy or sell in the Triangle!

Where does your market fall on the list?

Here is the link to the full report with the detailed chart, very interesting read!

Sharon,

Colorado Springs comes in at # 77 for large cities. But I’ll take the quality of life here far above many places listed above us.

It seems that many are migrating from Atlanta to NC and you have just proven why :).  Georgia needs to improve its game so that we can continue to attract businesses and residents. Thanks for sharing!
