What's going on in Hillsborough?

I was greeted by a cool breeze of air when I stepped out of my house early this morning. Now it’s closing in on 11am and it’s hot, hot, hot! That’s the thing about North Carolina. It will give you the slightest hint that cooler weather is coming before giving you back the summer heat! It’s time to show summer whose boss and take back our warm weather! We know eventually we will have to give in and accept the cooler breezes that are coming but it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy them now!

This Saturday, August 29^th, here in Hillsborough at Gold Park (415 Dimmocks Mill Rd, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278) from 12 to 3 PM, the Hillsborough Young Professionals Group (YPG) and Chapel Hill Young Professionals (CHYP) will partner together to bring you “Fun in the Sun”! This local event is free to attend and offers fun to all ages with cornhole, bocce ball, kickball and more.  A cook out will follow with hamburgers and hotdogs for all! Come out to meet and greet your neighbors and have some fun. I think we all could use some outdoor fun now that school has started back!
