Top Ten Golf Courses To Play In Naples, Florida
I have played many wonderful golf courses. Whistling Straits was one of my favorite golf course complexes in the U.S. But, when I return home to Naples, Florida to play golf, which would I consider to the be top golf clubs in Naples? Well, it is a very difficult ten choices because some of them are high on the list because that have an active social life. The Club Pelican Bay is one choice due to it's proximity to the beach and Pelican Bay. The Club Pelican Bay is slated to build a new 27 million dollar club house in 2016. Or Royal Poinciana for it's tennis, golf and dining and especially for it's extensive social life. But then there are a number of golf clubs in Naples that have no tee times such as Calusa Pines or Naples National Golf Club that offer some of the finest, most challenging golf courses around. Ask a good golfer about the greens at Calusa Pines and they will smile. They are crowned and prove a real test for a good golfer.
Some golfers would prefer to have a caddy and a few clubs have caddy programs such as The Olde Collier Golf Club , Naples National, Calusa Pines and more. There are other courses such as Grey Oaks, Bay Colony Golf Club or Quail West that are gated golf course communites with estate homes, condominiums and villas on property. Many allow owners to purchase their own golf carts. Both Grey Oaks and Quail West have extensive tennis programs and state of the art fitness programs and facilities.
Hole In The Wall is a lovely course. Close to downtown Naples, Olde Naples, Aqualane Shores and Port Royal.
