A second round of spraying for mosquitos will happen on Thursday, September 3, 2015 for Sparks, Hunt Valley, Cockeysville and Phoenix neighborhoods, after an individual was recently infected with West Nile Virus.
The first round was done on August 27.
The areas to be sprayed are within a mile radius of the infected individual.
The spraying is scheduled to begin after 7:30pm on 9/3/15.
According to a map from the Maryland Department of Agriculture, areas to be sprayed appear to include The Hunt Valley Towne Centre, Hunt Valley Station, Hunters Run, and Highfield in Hunt Valley, Phoenix areas including Summer Hill, Eagle’s Nest, Meredith’s Ridge, and others running up Jarretsville Pike to Sweet Air Road over to Manor, and in Cockeysville, Springdale, and areas off Cranbrook and off Warren Roads. In Sparks, the largest community to be affected will be Loveton Farms.

It is recommended to stay INSIDE while the spraying occurs.
Check the map from the Maryland Department of Agriculture, and if you will be in the affected areas on Thursday after 7:30pm, please plan to remain indoors!
