Labor Day...end of summer?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

Up in our nortern climes many people feel that the end of summer hits with Labor Day.

But, Really, Up here in the Nort land, summer is far from over.

I don't get mixed up in the EXACT date for the seasons.

Yes, school starts right after next weekend for the majority of districts.

For me, I will be enjoying the summer more with less crowds at my favorite weekend spots.

So, keep thinking summer is over...I will enjoy late summer and early fall quietly.

The trees are just starting to get a hint of color, but it is still Summer to me!

I agree with you, Bill. Even after our first snow, we can have some summer weather back and all the snow melts. Summer isn't over for me yet. My garden is showing me that much.

it is nice for a few weeks after that big labor day tourist rush, but hunting season will be along soon and the woods will get crowded again.

I understand, William.  And those crows that are getting ready to leave the North country will soon be headed down here.  And, it's a mixed blessing!

William Feela our forcast is for the upper 90's today but by Laborday we are looking for highs in the mid 60's. Sounds like winters coming soon to me.
