$370 MILLION SALE

By
Real Estate Agent with Beachfront Realty 3220434

Here is one for the record books!

1035 Lincoln Road

Sold at $370 million dollars is the entire block of Lincoln Road that housed the Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. The Comras company paid $12 million for it in 1999. The buyer was Spanish billionaire owner of the Zara retail stores.

This is the second highest real estate sale in Miami-Dade County history. That woulda been a great commission check!

Purchased in 1999 for $12 mil and sold for $370 mil. Now that's a smart investment! I wonder what that billionaire is going to do with it now?

Marco,

Prime corner, prime tenants, no doubt there is some upside potential in this property.  I love everyone's comments on the commission check.  Usually on commercial properties of this size the commission may be as small as a half of a percent of the selling price or at best 2%.  This is is not bad, but not the same as residential real estate.  A

Marco - That's the kind of commission real estate professionals dream of!  If you had been involved in that sale, I would suspect after it closed we would not see you on ActiveRain for at least a month!
