Is Free Money Real? Or Crap?

This weekend I posted on Facebook about “free” money for a down payment and closing costs when buying a home in Virginia. One person was not to pleased with my use of the word FREE. Here is a screenshot of his comment:

I was not surprised about how he felt. Personally I don't believe in "freebies" either. My mom always said there is no FREE lunch I mentioned it in a video I recorded explaining how the program for down payment works. You can watch it here, grant money for downpayment and closing costs in Virginia.

Anyway the commenter is somewhat correct that the free money for down payment and closing costs does come from somewhere. The funds are supplied by a national homebuyers fund to help more people across America own homes.

Now there you have its not free to the company and fund but it is free to the buyer. If you want more details on how to access these funds, fill in your name and email below.  A free lunch could be yours, afterall. Fill out my online form.

Markita,

Interesting post, my thinking freedom is not free, and there is nothing else that is free.

The money is supplied for the buyer.. it does come with a cost, but the buyer is able usually to trade an agreement to stay in the home for a certain number of years or something..
