Sunday Digest: What I Learned This Week

By
Mortgage and Lending with Keller Mortgage NMLS#1239544

1. Balance. Life throws us ups and downs and curves we didn't see coming. This flow creates a balance in our lives and creates opportunities to learn and grow into our future selves. Think more about what this place in the present moment is providing to you. If you do, you'll be rewarded.

2. Things Happen For A Reason. Good, bad, right, wrong, indifferent, life happens for reasons that we often don't understand in the moment. These experiences are meant to teach us and guide us to the next level of self improvement. Past jobs, difficult clients, struggles in life, they are all mean't to redirect us and guide us to where we belong.

3. Sharing Different Perspectives. We all think and process our thoughts differently from one another. Challenge yourself on a regular basis to see different perspectives in an effort to strengthen your mindset. It is through perspective that we can challenge ourselves and grow to become better people in business and in life.

Chris,

We reap what we sow. If what we’re reaping is not what we want or what we were anticipating it pays to take a hard look at what we are really sowing, not just what we think we are sowing.

David Gibson - Great point. Whats actually happening and what we think is happening are two different things. I've had to reevaluate this perspective in my business recently to figure out which clients are worth the time and effort and which ones I need to refer out to others. Sometimes the seeds don't grow and you need to replace them with other seeds that prosper.
