"Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation.
Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely
what others think you are." - Dale Carnegie
Having good character is one of the most significant traits one can carry through life. Character is defined as having qualities of honesty, integrity, and authenticity that define your reputation with others. Character can be displayed in every interaction with others throughout the day. In the world of real estate it can define whether or not others want to do business with you.
Building your character comes from your experiences and interactions with others! Next time you have a meeting with a new business partner or client think about your character. What are you showing others you meet? What are the good qualities of your character? What are some areas you can improve?
Building character is a continuous process of learning and evolving and discovering what your ethical and moral strengths are. Good character comes in many forms and is unique to each of us.
Have a great week!
