Wordless Wednesday - Ready for the Fire - Bronx, NY

Ladies, Patricia Feager, MBA, GRI, Cert Negotiations Expert, Military Relo Prof , Kathy Streib and Hannah Williams - this was no doubt one of the Irish sections of the Bronx and the WPA artists and architects wanted the complexion of this neighborhood to be reflected in the architecture. I love exploring New York City and sharing with my AR friends that just haven't had an opportunity to find all the nooks and crannies!

Joanna Cohlan what a great job you did finding those nooks and crannies ![]()
Hope all is well with you
Joanna,
Love it, and what a great find on your part, and that is why I love your photos as always. A

As I lay awake at dark-thirty this morning I thought of visiting NYC with you as my GF tourguide--oh what fun we would have!
Good morning Joanna. What a neat statue. I know for a fact I've never seen that one before. Thanks.
Joanna Cohlan ~ hi Joanna, I moved back to NYC from overseas in Giuliani era, so I I know what he accomplished. Bloomberg I have less "feel" for as I didn't live in NYC during his terms. From what I hear about the current mayor, things don't seem to be so good anymore. (Breaks my heart for my hometown.)
That would be the "ultimate" share Bubbeleh. I hope we can make it happen soon. With me, it's been finances in addition to the surgeries, which made the finance situation even worse.
All is well Hannah Williams and a happy and healthy new year.
You are right Nina Hollander - the current mayor is not good for NYC.
Thanks so much Ron and Alexandra Seigel and Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 glad that you get to see NY thru my eyes a bit.
Hi there James Dray - I knew I would surprise you!

Bubbeleh, I'd love for you to come to me, but I'm not in Fairport Harbor any more.....but we'll talk, maybe we can figure it out.![]()

Nice way to honor our first responders. You have a great eye for what gets attention.

What an incredible statue. Awesome picture. Hope you have a super week.
Emotion invoking photo, and statue. First responders deserve their place of honor in our towns and cities across America. Hope you're having a fabulous week, fabulous you.
Good morning Joe Petrowsky - I wonder if they were called "First Responders" in the 1930's?
Thanks so much Alan Kirkpatrick - he looks like he is standing out on a ledge just like First Responders do Debb Janes - taking their lives in their hands whenever duty calls.
What a great photo and creative place to put the statue. That is so appropriate. Have a wonderful weekend.
I know, it really beautifies the brick building Debbie Reynolds doesn't it?
What a wonderful tribute and touching addition to the architecture of the building. I'm so glad you shared this photo.
