When we put 5206 Devonport Ct on the market at the end of April, I was confident that we would get it sold quickly. The Colonial sits on a pretty cul-de-sac, there is very little turn-over in the subdivision and the seller had done a fantastic job preparing the home. It didn't take long for us to receive 3 offers and under contract we went.
But anything can happen in Real Estate! After a smooth 5 week period, we found out the day of closing that the buyer had a change in circumstances and would no longer qualify for financing.
And back on the market we went ... after we had the key areas of the home professionally staged by Flavell Home Staging. Again we received 3 offers, negotiated a price $11,000 above our asking price and SOLD for $490,000!
