Animal Instinct & the Crystal Eye Balls

Real Estate Agent with DFW FINE PROPERTIES 0506509

Whether it's animal instinct or a result of intelligence, this little kitty knows her owner is packing up and moving and my Buyer doesn't seem to mind at all. The cat sits and watches, never crying out loud, whining, meowing, or pointing out flaws or defects; nor does it show us where the treats are hidden.

Its beautiful green eyes, the color of the Caribbean Sea is no threat, it doesn't want sympathy, petting, or confrontation. It sits and waits for its owner to come home and finish packing. This kitty appears to have superior intellect with an interest in every movement my buyer makes - it pays little attention to me, the Real Estate Agent.

Two purses upon the breakfast bar, one mine; the other belonging to my Buyer. Indiscriminately, the kitty with the big, bright green eyes picks the Buyers purse to explore, pokes its face inside, sniffs around, perhaps investigating whether or not the Buyer could afford to pay. If she looks good, smells good, and her purse has the money, it appears that the kitty is okay with that. It's not interested in my purse, laptop, or keys. The owner has trained her cat well!

Like a kitty with good instinct, my Buyer is pleased with the house. The inspections were yesterday. Inspections and negotiations always have an element of surprise. Now it appears to me, that the kitty is in charge of who stays; who goes. Its eyes are like crystal balls; it's such a noble creature with some human characteristics about what it chooses - who stays, who goes, perhaps only this kitty knows!

Hi Patricia - It's always fun to try to get inside a cat's head - the experience a different reality than we do, and give us few clues, and plenty of disdain.

Patricia animals are much smarter than we give them credit for.  The eyes on this cat are amazing.

You are very sensitive to Kitty Cats, aren't you Patricia? It sounds like you were communicating back and forth whether the Kitten was paying any attention to you or not!

George Souto and Evelyn Johnston if ever there was a pet that could make a great first impression, it would be this one. It's lovable and the kind you just can't stop admiring. I felt, and my client did too, a presence that cannot be explained.

Those are among the most gorgeous eyes I've seen on a cat!  Kitty seems to know change is on the winds, but doesn't yet know how that change is going to manifest!  Lots of questions in those eyes!

Hi Patricia Feager, MBA, GRI, Cert Negotiations Expert, Military Relo Prof , I think the cat may be confused as  to why there are strangers roming around its home.

I too love how you are looking into the kitty's eyes and weaving a beautiful story about the thrill and the challenge of moving to a new home!  I think you have a sixth sense or better yet, you are a gifted writer using all of her senses and then some!

Hi, Patricia...nice story. I hope the owner is taking the kitty, too.

Animals are funny. My cats know when I'm traveling. I even found a stuffed mouse of their's in my duffle bag on one recent trip. They hate it when I leave, they know that Auntie Sue will take good care of them and love and pet them while I'm gone. I guess it's not the same for them, though.

Good morning Patricia. They do have amazing instincts, wish ours were equally has keep. You bet this kitty is aware and will help the owner through the emotional part of the moving process.

Hi Patricia, Can you feel their eyes even when you can't see them? I have and upon looking deeper I will discover where the feline friend is hiding. They cautiously wait and watch to see how their homelife will be disrupted. Loved your post.

Pretty eyes on the cat. I hope the cat is part of the move! So many people just leave their animals behind to starve. My mom has saved several from the rental home next door. So sad.
