Hall of Heroes, Super Hero Museum, Elkhart, Indiana.

Of the numerous museums in Elkhart County, the Hall of Heroes is the most exciting for Children and Super Hero enthusiasts combined.  The Hall of Heroes was created by Allen Stewart, of Elkhart, as a replica building, "The Hall of Justice" from the Super-friends animated series, that was popular in the 1970's.

The museum has a collection of over 50,000 comic books dating back to the 1940's and original artwork used in comic books and animation numbering in excess of 100 pieces.

There are many displays throughout the museum featuring many superheroes, which include actual movie and TV props.

The museum is packed full of excitement at every turn and is a must for enthusiasts and wide eyed children everywhere, to experience.

Tours are available by appointment only.

$5.00 per person and $3.00 for children 10 and under.

Hi Lynn B. Friedman , There are so many places of interest to explore in our own communities, such as our local museums.  Many people don't even know this one exists.

Larry, I can see children loving to go to this super hero museum. Their comic book collection I would guess is a very valuable asset these days.

I think both of my Brothers would spend an entire week in there reading the comics.  They were both really into them growing up.
