Yet another flip home, and problems abound!

It never ceases to amaze me that people still try to pull off a home renovation without major issues being found by the home inspector once the house is on the market.

Few people buy without a home inspector, so the shoddy work should show, and it does.

We are experts in finding the electrical, plumbing, roofing and structural issues, as well as more simple things like steps and railing that have irregularities - some of which can get you hurt. These days with all the flippers out there, you need to know the real deal when you buy a home.

This is a picture of a landing/deck with the railing installed to the side, and not above, the steps. This is an IMPROPER installation as your foot could get caught between the railing and the steps. This is how you promote broken ankles/feet! A stranger can trip on your steps and take you to court over this if a serious broken bone or similar medical issue.

So...

Don't be ridiculous. call Meticulous!

don't even know if my railing is on or to the side of the steps.  I think to the side and it was build with the steps.  I'll have to look in the morning.

Hi Tammy - thats as good idea cuz strangers can get hurt on your property, and you know what some people may do if they see dollar signs! Thanks for your input!

Hi David. Thats quite right, and most pigs are cleaner than some of the homes I inspect! Thanks for responding!
