Sonoma County Home Sales - July 2015
July 2015 was another strong summer month of sales in Sonoma County, with about 40 more homes selling than in June. The median price of a home in Sonoma County, $545K, is the same as it was last month. The all time median high was $619K in August 2005.
Once again, 50% of the homes sold in Healdsburg sold for more that $1 million. Healdsburg, a small town that was looking a bit tattered just 20 years ago, is one of the busiest tourist attractions in Sonoma County today. If you want to have dinner there, you had better have reservations. Available parking spots downtown are golden, if you can find one you know your parking angel is looking out for you.
Sonoma County home prices have increased by 7% over the last 12 months. Ever since January 2012, there has been a steady increase in home prices, from a median of just over $300K to where we are today. Yowza!
