Finding Your Way Around The GPS Maze

By
Commercial Real Estate Agent

The other day I read a post from an individual asking for a recommendation for purchasing a GPS System. I just came across an article written by Christopher Nieger for AOL Autos which may be of some help. He basically took a unit out of the box and started using it. He made a 1,200 mile trip up and down the East Coast and several smaller trips while testing several different units. Here are the units he reviewed:

  • Magellan Maestro 4250
  • Megellan RoadMate 1200
  • Garmin Nuvi 200
  • Garmin Nuvi 760
  • Mio DigiWalker C230
  • Mio DigiWalker C520
If you would like to read the article, here is the link.

Thanks for the information...  I have a Garmin (I think it's a 360).  Anyway, I really like it.  It's not perfect, but I doubt that any of them are.  :)

Patrick: I agree. I would be lost (pun intended) if I couldn't rely on my navigation system. Thanks for your comment.

You're welcome.  I'm really dependent upon mine, too.  It's so much nicer than trying to look at a street guide or a map...  :)
