This morning, I had the pleasure of dining with Active Rain and Facebook friend, Eileen Burns, who is visiting Stowe, Vermont from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Stowe Mountain Lodge. I had buttermilk pancakes with caramelized pineapple, vanilla bean cream and cinnamon butter along with applewood smoked bacon and a pineapple-spinach smoothie. Thank you, Eileen, for making the time in your schedule to get together. It was so nice to meet you!
That is very cool. It's always fun meeting Rainers, esp when they travel a long distance.

Yes, Endre Barath, Jr. although I have not been playing in the Rain much this last year, we are friends. 
I will have to check out Good Reads. I love to read and discuss books and belong to a few book discussion groups. Sounds like it would be right up my alley. I will have to connect with Diane through it when I sign up. Thanks for the tip.
