Just how important are online reviews? According to Entrepreneur magazine, a 2014 survey shows that 88% of consumers used online reviews when evaluating a product, business or service.

Among surveyed consumers, 72% of them were more likely to trust a business that had positive reviews!

This scratches the surface. There are numerous elements in a review signal, all measured by Google's complex algorithms. 

Google has been increasing the importance of online reviews, weighing these results heavier than social media activity and click-through rates. Google also displays reviews in "Page One" search results for businesses that have accrued several positive remarks.

Ideally, client reviews of your business should be received on an ongoing basis. This helps feed fresh content to Google and further aids your ranking.
