Best Places To Retire: Scottsdale, AZ Vacation Homes and Retirement Information
Scottsdale, AZ has been long known as a great place for second home buyers and vacation home buyers to retire, but has now been made official by WalletHub.com. WalletHub ranked Scottsdale as #2 in the country for The Best City To Retire out of their top ranked 150 cities! Scottsdale wasn't alone for Arizona cities, in fact they placed 8 other Arizona cities on the list. Others that ranked for Best Places To Retire in America were Peoria, AZ (#10), Mesa, AZ (#11), Tucson, AZ (#29), Tempe, AZ (#33), Gilbert, AZ (#45), Chandler, AZ (#49), Phoenix, AZ (#63), and Glendale, AZ (#66). Quite impressive that not only did 9 of our wonderful cities make the list, but 7 of them were in the top 50!
Second only to Tampa, FL, it is not a total surprise to us that know Scottsdale well. Whether it is spending a night out in Old Town, golfing one of our dozens of courses, or heading to Talking Stick Resort & Casino for a night of fun, there are a ton of fun activities for retirees to partake in. Affordability is another huge factor, especially when you look at housing affordability in Scottsdale. Having worked with a long list of clients who purchased a second home or retirement home in Scottsdale, we at Dwellings Realty Group know that Heath Care is another large factor that gets taken into account. Luckily, Scottsdale has some of the best health care services in the valley or even the country. Quality of life was also taken into account, and since our weather is a huge attraction to folks looking for the best place to retire, the quality life here in the fall, winter, and spring months always keeps a smile on our retirement client's faces.
