How About a House in Outer Space? Ask Station Commander Scott Kelly

I can't even imagine the mental strength to do that.  I get nuts after 24 hours indoors (even when I've had surgery and need to be in bed).  I need outdoors and sunshine.  I couldn't do it.

Lynn B. Friedman, I'm sure Commander Scott Kelly will be very happy to be home.

That being said, I have been IN the space station.  Mind you it was on the ground in Huntsville, AL before before it was launched and completely assembled, but still I have been inside of it.

Lynn-Since his trip is not a vacation, I imagine having room to roam is not the only thing he'll be happy to get back to when he returns.

Lynn I had no idea I thought he retired already this is what happens when we do not turn the TV on going on over 14 months... thanks for sharing the information.... so I guess he does not go grocery shopping three times a week nor does he water the yard three times a week either:))), Endre

 Good Wednesday morning Lynn. I had no idea that he was still in space either. I thought he had retired. I'm sure he now understands what a fish in a goldfish bowl feels like.

Lynn B. Friedman Great reminder that we still have astronauts in space. Scott Kelly's milestone was eclipsed this week however with the news that the North Koreans landed a man on the Sun. Kind of brings new meaning to the term Korean BBQ

Lynn I could not imagine being in a cramp space like that for a month much less 12 of them even with a great view like that.
