It’s less than 2 weeks until this very popular Carlsbad art, one of the many art events that makes Carlsbad such a well-known arts community! Even if you have a busy schedule that weekend I'd make time to check this out, even for an hour, if you can!

Carlsbad ArtSplash 2015 on September 26 and 27 is an exciting, fun-filled annual 2-day outdoor arts fair taking place on Armada Drive overlooking the Carlsbad Flower Fields and panoramic views of the ocean.
This is the 13th annual!
Carlsbad ArtSplash 2015 is all about promoting the arts plus raising funds to benefit art and music programs in the local community. ArtSplash may be best known for the chalk art contest with dozens of talented chalk artists creating their masterpieces in chalk on the road (I’ve sponsored a chalk square for the last 3 years and did so again in 2015).
Why not be a patron of the arts and advertise your business by sponsoring a chalk square. You can also buy a smaller square for kids to use for their own chalk art creations that help support 2015 Carlsbad ArtSplash.
Besides watching beautiful chalk art unfold on the street, in the sun, you’ll find plenty of other artists and works of art to admire and purchase – paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and much more.
There will be plenty of live entertainment, too, to suit every taste, plus plenty of food to enjoy.
Carlsbad ArtSplash 2015 is open (free admission) on Saturday from 10 until 6 and on Sunday from 10 until 5 on Armada Drive off of Palomar Airport Road just east of the 5 freeway. There is ample free parking in the surrounding office park area.
