How about a log house for your pet or birds? (S)

I don't know about re-purposing for your yard, but there are no doubt plenty of people who would love to purchase it for their wood stoves.

Many people slice the wood to be used for serving purposes on a buffet table. My recollection is that mineral oil or walnut oil is used on the wood slices after they are sanded.

I think you got home about a half hour too late to make a custom formed throne Margaret. I do see the potential in monitoring any future felled trees. You could have quite a comfortable piece overlooking the plantings of a garden.

There's a local woodworker here, Brent Comber, who makes side tables and coffee tables out of twigs.  Wonder if you could take the wood to a local woodworker near you?
