I am about to move away from my very FAVORITE part of Maui.
I currently live in Huelo area on Door of Faith Road and our time here has been wonderful!
A couple months ago we got some very exciting news. My children were able to get into a really great charter school (Kihei Charter School). We found out a few days before school started! It was such an unexpected surprise and we were really thrilled..... EXCEPT the school is an hour away from the home we bought.
We bought our "forever" home(I should know better than to ever utter forever). Now we will be renting it out for the remainder of the school year. It is very bitter sweet for me. SO for the next week I want to show off the beauty of my favorite part of Maui. Pictures could never really capture it though.
It is really the people who make this my favorite part of Maui. They are some of the kindest and caring people I have ever met. I have yet to meet a neighbor on my road that I dont like. They have been so great!
I feel safe to have my children out playing and roaming free like I remember doing most of my childhood! I am not sure what we will do with our little slice of paradise long term. I will miss our country living but at least I will be able to walk my kids to their favorite beach in Kihei!
