There is an old saying in real estate that men buy garages and women buy kitchens and bathrooms. So if you are preparing your house to sell consider updating these areas:
1) Clean the garage floors of any grease spots.
2) Organize the garage. (If necessary rent a storage unit until the house sells.)
3) If your kitchen cabinets are in bad shape or outdated, try painting them and possibly adding granite counters.
4) Update your bathrooms by adding new tile, light fixtures, designer vanities and/or new mirrors.
