The Most Expensive Home sold in Arizona last week

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Zion Realty

We return to Paradise Valley, Arizona once again for the most expensive home that sold in Arizona last week. This luxury property seems like it's been transplanted straight from California. The lush green front landscaping, soaring palm trees, and dark red tiled roof feel as if this home should be just a stone's throw away from a beach on the Pacific yet you'll find it here in the middle of the desert. A full size tennis/basketball court and sparkling pool also give off the impression that whoever had this home originally built were certainly inspired by a west coast lifestyle. Located on the Paradise Valley Country Club Golf Course the new owners will have no trouble keeping themselves and their guests entertained with all of their sporting and relaxation options. Click on the picture below for the full MLS listing:

The interior of this home is also vastly different than you'd find in a typical Arizona luxury property. Features including classic white built-in bookshelves, crystal chandeliers, light oak wood flooring, and a contrasting color scheme are just some of the style choices not found in most homes here. The kitchen and bathrooms are simple yet elegant, tastful yet having a touch of character. The blue granite counter-tops give the cook and guests a conversation piece to talk about but they blend nicely with the matching tiled backsplash. You can tell that every room of this house was well thought out and implemented to accomodate a very specific style that the original owner had in mind and I'd say that's exactly what you should get when purchasing a luxury home of this caliber.

Location: Paradise Valley

Size: 6,295 sqft

Bedrooms: 6

Bathrooms: 4.5

Lot size: 50,273 sqft

Hi Nicole - Thanks for a look at another lovely home, but you're right - it makes few concessions to southwestern style.

This home certainly will provide a quality oasis for the new owners.  You are absolutely correct the interior does offer a lot of color!  Not the typical interior of a luxury home.

Nicole, what a gorgeous home. You're right, it isn't typical of what you see in your area but, beautiful nonetheless. I had to click on the link to see the granite, wasn't sure what to expect but, it really looks great. I enjoy this series.

Dick - It just reminds me of a California style home, not an Arizona one.

Alexandra - Does he build homes elsewhere as well? Maybe that's where it got the California influence.

Women of Westchester - I say the same thing about the stylish and modern apartment designs in NY. It's so different from here and I love it.

Roger - A price tag in the millions better not have animals in the pictures!

Anna - I bet the new owner will do quite a bit of de-personalization on this home.

George - The front door is very cool and unique!

Rob - Paradise Valley is about an hour drive from me but whenever I get up that way I drive around some of the neighborhoods just to marvel at the homes.

Amanda - They did a nice job in connecting the granite with the backsplash and white cabinets. It's not my personal style but they made it work well.
