Take Your Time Making Feng Shui Changes To Your Home and Lifestyle

By
Home Stager with Feng Shui Manhattan Long Island #888

When it comes time to implementing Feng Shui suggestions into your home, office, and lifestyle, I tell my clients, do not engage in too many changes at once. By doing that, it may result in you feeling completely overwhelmed, thus creating an emotional charge of being stuck.

Instead, pick ONE area of your home at a time and select a smaller section within that given area. And make at least one change.

This could be taking away furniture (if it offers no function or use anymore), adding or replacing artwork, or removing clutter; these are all great changes! Remember, one step at a time.

Depending on my clients emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual life lessons they need to explore during the process of transformation, on average it could take weeks, months, or a full year. Each person is different and unique, so you want to honor that energy and be present with YOUR journey, not just focus on the end result and force change.

The benefits of Feng Shui come from the "in-between" moments.

Hi Laura, this is a great advice, trying to make big changes can be overwhelming and result in quitting before completion.

I would be happy to just see a corner of my office get cleaned out, except for I would probably miss the files
