Today’s real estate agent population is decreasing.

 

How many Realtors® are there in the United States? In order to be considered a Realtor® you have to be a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors®) and subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics. In the peak of the real estate boom in 2007, there were over 1.3 million members of this organization.

 

According to the same NAR statistics, in March 2013 there were just under 1 million members, or about a 23% reduction in membership. Where did all the Realtors® go? While current agents may think the reduction in the overall number of real estate agents across the country is a good thing, the real fact of the matter is unless an agent has a consistent viable source of income he or she may not able to stay in the business!

You need a niche that automatically sets you apart from the crowded real estate room and information overloaded internet that will instantly identify your value and show your prospective client you have the knowledge to help them solve their problem, get their needs met, all while none of the same is apparent with the other agents in the crowded room.
