Where To Close, You Have A Choice In Minot

Once you have found that home you love and your financing has been approved what/where do you go next?

Well... in North Dakota, most often, the deal is closed at a title company. Government regulations are so tight that I want to say up front that as far as I know all fees are the same so "shopping" for a title team is limited to who you think will give you the best service... they are both going to give you the same price.

I have nothing but good things to say about either of our title teams here in Minot ND. Your choices are:

First Dakota Title, 701-852-6800

North Dakota Guaranty & Title Company, 701-838-1907

1835 16th Street SW (next to CVS Pharmacy)

North Dakota Guaranty & Title Company

Again, the choice is yours! You have the final say. Both offer good service at the same rates so if you want to stop at each one to see who you preffer I'm glad each one would be happy to see you and visit about their service.

Bob, you are right about getting good service.  My experience, and I feel is true for agents as well ... it's not the company or broker ... its the person servicing the transaction.  If my escrow officer ever leaves the company she is with ... I will move my business to wherever she goes.

Kathleen Daniels that is so true. I've discontinued patronizing certain restaurants, stores and other vendors due to poor service.
