Happy Friday!

This past week we lost a great baseball legend…  Yogi Berra passed away at age 90.   There are many famous folks who are quoted often…  Eleanor Roosevelt,  Albert Einstein, Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Zig Ziglar…  but somehow when sharing some of the ‘great’ quotes the list would not be complete without a few from Yogi.  So today I share a few of my favorite Yogi-isms :)

I hope you have a lovely day and a nice weekend.  Looks to be shaping up as a great fall weekend.  Enjoy and I will see you next week with some more quotes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yogi Berra was known for his catchphrases and his catcher skills.  He won 10 championships with the Yankees and appeared in more World Series than any other player.  He is in the Baseball Hall of Fame, was named MVP three times, is an 18-time All-Star, and became an MLB manager and coach after he retired from the field.   RIP Yogi!
Nobody says it quite like Yogi…
  • It ain’t over till it’s over.
  • When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
  • I always thought that record would stand, until it was broken.
  • It’s like déjà vu all over again.
  • Baseball is 90% mental and the other half is physical.
  • Always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise they won’t come to yours.
  • I never said most of the things I said.
Geri - Yogi was a great player, but is probably more well known for all of his famous quotes.
Troy,  I agree he had am amazing career as a player and a coach.  But I certainly know him best for his being such a "wizard" with his sayings.  :)   Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!  ...geri
