What a tragic event that you are having to endure. We are so very sorry for your losses. You have to take action however and we are trying to get the word out. Don't let anyone remove your foundation.
When Katrina hit years ago, we volunteered to get down there and see what we could do to help, HUD told us no, we have it under control. Then FEMA moved those temporary trailer housing into the area, many people relocated, wow, we'll we are sad to report the government didn't do much to rebuild, in fact, very little if anything. The homes around New Orleans are still in disrepair, the water and sewer systems are still not in and operational, and we could have done all this if they had only let us.
We cannot let this happen in CA, These cities and towns and you and your neighbors deserve much more. Lets work together to help get these areas back on line and get these lives back to a normal existence.
We need a place to have some town meetings in case you are in one of the fire devastated areas. Our team will come in FREE of charge and explain what we feel are your best options. No obligation but there are a good many of you and your neighbors that will do one of the following:
1) Get your insurance money and rebuild your home
Don't let them scrape the ground, leave your foundation in tact. VERY important. Minor damage is okay, we can work with that.
2) Get your insurance money, rebuild your home with a 203k or Homestyle renovation loan and keep the insurance money in your bank. Possibly use some of it to buy a better interest rate, or pay a little more down to make your payment more reasonable.
3) Get your insurance money and move out of the area
Don't let them scrape your lot, leave your foundation in tact. VERY important
4) If you move away, what do you do with your land?
A) Nothing, let it go back to the county for non payment of taxes... NOT a good thing and it could affect your credit.
B) Sell your lot to someone who might rebuild the home.
We can assist you in finding someone to rebuild the home for sale to the public, listing it with a local Realtor to help them get re-establised.
C) Donate your lot to a non profit who can rebuild the the home.
We can assist you in finding a suitable non profit organization. YOUR church may be a good source and this would help them get re-established as well.

9/25/2015 - I see the news this morning in San Andreas is that FEMA is on the job and providing tents, food, water, etc... much needed stuff, I'm sure. Once you get those necessities and things get stabilized a bit lets th plans together to get those homes rebuilt, that isn't what FEMA is there for, we are however.
If the house was burned to the ground and the re-bar got so hot as to pop or blow up the foundation then it will need to be a rebuild and not a renovation loan. This may give the entire area a whole new face that doesn't look like the original towns and cities at all.
