Monday evening, August 3rd, I received an email from Don inquiring about homes in Grand Junction. When I spoke to Don the next day he shared with me that he was getting ready to retire and currently lived in South Texas. Don's fiancée was retired and she lived outside of Denver and said they would be in town to look at homes August 7-9th, BUT they wouldn't be ready to purchase until October.
The couple had never been to Grand Junction before, but at a recent sporting event, a couple next to them told them about Grand Junction and how they loved living there. Both Don and Carol wanted a change in lifestyle and a small town atmosphere.
When I met with Carol and Don, I showed them a number of homes but nothing really interested them. As they were getting ready to leave on Monday, I decided to quickly check the MLS for price reductions. I noticed 217 Dream St., and what it offered and quickly got Don and Carol in my car.

Within 20 minutes we were talking offer price, closing dates and the in's and out's of lenders and title work.
Fast forward to Tuesday, September 22nd and the photo above of Don and Carol in their new backyard.
